Age range: 15 – 25

Our training programme consists of weekly open classes and creative workshops

Our open, drop-in classes are for anyone wanting to have fun using movement, creative dance, and drama. We start with a warm-up, and proceed to exercises that involve both physical and social interaction with others. Each class ends with the sharing of the outcome of these exercises and a little discussion of what we have learned. There is live musical accompaniment in all our open classes.

In our creative workshops, invited participants from our open classes are mentored to choreograph or direct performance that can be shown either live or recorded in the form of a short video. Participants will have the opportunity to gain accreditation for their work, through the Arts Award up to Silver level.

Class is suitable for participants with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

Carers and support workers are welcome. We ask them to participate. Please read the carer’s brochure before arriving.
