Adults Young People Performance & Workshop

Classes are for anyone wanting to have fun using movement and creative dance, with a bit of drama. We start with a warm-up that can be done either standing or sitting on a chair or wheelchair. We then make up a dance together and share it with each other at the end of each class.

We are able to accommodate participants with challenging but not aggressive behaviour.

Carers and support workers are welcome. We ask them to participate. Please ask us for the support worker information leaflet in your first session.

We have two types of sessions:

Open classes are particularly suited to participants who have profound and multiple learning disabilities.
Open class time: Mondays 3.30pm – 5pm
Open class cost: £12 per class (drop-in). We encourage you to pay for the full term in advance to secure your place. This class is often full.

Creative/performance workshops: are designed to be accessible to participants who have moderate to severe learning disabilities.
Creative workshop time: Mondays 6pm – 7:30pm
Creative workshop cost: £120 per term of 10 sessions. Please note creative/performance workshops are only bookable on a termly basis. No drop-in.
